For the World Cup event Myriam Fares released a MV in collaboration with Nicki Minaj, and Maluma for their song Tukoh Taka
Now what I don’t get is the unexplainable hate towards her while performing the choreography in the MV.
A lot where comparing her to Shakira and saying she’s the fake copy of Shakira and so on..
But the majority have forgotten that both shakira and myriam descend from the same arabian lebanese culture!
So having close dance moves and traditional dancing customs is more than normal!
I mean what do u want her to do? Invent new belly dancing moves and costumes !
To me the only good thing in the MV is Myriam’s dance .The lyrics doesn’t make any sense , there’s even no harmony between the artists. It feels more like a random mashup!
You don’t have to like the song ,it’s your opinion and personal taste, but you can’t throw your unexplained hate here and there on social media
