After a long absence from the artistic community for health reasons, Celine Dion apologizes for all her concerts for the next two years and reveals for the first time in an emotional video that she recently published on Instagram that she suffers from a rare neurological syndrome that affects one out of every million people, and is called Stiff Man Syndrome.
"All my life I have been an open book.. However, I did not have the courage to say publicly that I had health problems until this day.. I apologize that I will not be able to sing for you because of the severe muscle spasms and convulsions that I am experiencing as a result of this disease.. Thank you All for your kind wishes and your supportive and encouraging messages that mean a lot to me.. I love you and I hope to be able to meet you as soon as possible.. Take care of yourselves and your health"
Celine Dion has been diagnosed with a neurological disorder that ultimately leaves sufferers as human statues as it progressively locks the body into rigid positions, leaving people unable to walk or talk. This is so sad 💔 pic.twitter.com/6oYqaQVS3k
